Find your passion correctly before it’s too late – 3 Valuable Mantra

find your passion

If you really want to know why it’s important to find your passion correctly, then read this blog for clarity. Sushant Singh’s recent tragic case has shaken his fans terribly. I was not able to understand why he did what he did. I believe its somehow related to the incorrect selection of passion, so I penned down my thoughts in this blog

Have a read!!

Glitters are not Passion

A brilliant student, an engineer in making suddenly realised that he has a passion for acting. So, sailing against the wind, he moved to Mumbai and made his career as an actor. His hard work paid off and he got a good break in the film industry as an actor.

A tiny little plant of acting that he seeded, gradually become a large and beautiful tree and began to produce fruits of his hard work.

He was doing great in his acting career and he was also nurturing another passion of science and astronomy. So, he seeded another plant in a small pot in his back yard. That plant was also growing but with limited space in the pot, it couldn’t grow big enough and so as his passion of astronomy and engineering in his mind.

All his life he was trying to prove to the world and himself that he is meant for acting and his passion is acting. He nurtured that tree with sheer hard work, and he believed that he has a full right to enjoy the fruits of that tree.

Harsh realities of Businesses

Your creative thoughts of acting are not the only driving force to make a good film. There are too many other parameters that dictate the film making and those are beyond your control.

When a tree becomes fully lush green loaded with fruits, it also attracts loads of buyer and seller who need those fruits with high quantity on lowest price. So, they offer you some lucrative proposals and trap you with fancy business ideas. And unfortunately, you can grow a plant with sheer hard work and make a lush green tree but that doesn’t mean you could enjoy those fruits all alone.

Same applies to the film industry or any other industry. You can do sheer hard work in acting or engineering or any other profession, but the ultimate gain wouldn’t be in your control. You will be paid monthly if you are a paid worker or you will get contractual pay cheques if you are an actor, but the real gain always lies to those who sit on top of the pyramids.

So, after spending the best 8 years of his time in the industry, he concluded that it’s not as creative field as it seems to be from outside. The film industry is almost the same as every other industry where his x-batch mates or other so-called less-creative people made their careers regardless of their passion for work.

One day he went to his back yard and found that another plant grown enough within the limited capacity of the pot that holds the routes of the plant. He felt really sad and wished if he had given enough attention earlier to transfer it to a bigger pot.

Find your passion correctly- its never too late

His passion for physics and astronomy is no different than the other plant.  His other passion started haunting and telling him that it was your wrong decision to prioritise acting over-engineering or astronomy made us what we are today in your mind.

A fish of the deep ocean cannot survive in a pond, so they never come close to the shallow side of the ocean. So, generally, fishermen sail deep inside the ocean to catch those fishes.

All those fancy TV reality shows of singing, dancing are no different than those fishermen in this technology-driven world.  It’s our duty as parent, friends, brothers and sisters to observe those fishermen and protect our loved ones.

Recently many signers have shared their thoughts and its very evident that the new talent in singing, dancing, etc are not getting enough attention what they deserve.

Not every glitter is gold and not every engineer is an engineer because he has no choice.

I wish he realised it earlier. But even realising it too late is not the end of the word. At least he should have waited for another plant to grow once he decided to place him in a bigger pot.

We can’t change the past, but we can certainly help those who create an imaginary fancy world in their mind and left engineering or other professions without realising where they actually belong to in a true sense.

We need to help them to set their goals for life in a much more methodical manner so they can achieve greater heights in their career. But more importantly, prepare them to face tough time patiently and professionally without losing any hope.

I hope he will reborn to become an astronaut this time and make his name far greater and more impactful than SSR.

RIP my friend.
